Janelle & the boys belt out ‘The Ride’ off their new album, never recorded ‘Skip the Beats’, and a cool version of Maroon 5’s ‘Harder to Breathe.’ They tell us about the horrible way that they brought in the New Year, demonstrate their intellectual futility by boasting the worst showing in Terrible Twos history, and reveal particulars about one of their spouse’s abnormally-formed genitalia.

Phil, Sam, & Vic from Last Try stop by the cellar to play us some music and tell us tales; like of how they got pelted with cupcakes while performing at a benefit. The guys hit us with ‘My Eyes’ & ‘BLVD’ off their new album Kiss Me I’m Toasted, then Phil plays an intimate acoustic version of Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA.”

Sultry singer/songwriter Ashley Jones joins us for an intimate Session in the Cellar. This usually reserved & shy Jersey gurl opens up to your gallant hosts Bill & Jax, and even does a little rapping. Ashley performs ‘Got Me Bad’ & ‘Fiends on the Block’ off her 2009 self-titled album, and a sexy-silky-smooth acoustic version of Frank Sinatra’s ‘Fly Me To The Moon’.

Makeout Party in the Cellar! That’s right, Carmen and Joe perform for us downstairs and tell us tales of African-American Leprechauns. They do ‘The Worst Fourth of July Ever’ & ‘A Year Plus One Month’ off of their most recent album Carried Names, and hit us with Matthew Sweet’s ‘Sick of Myself.’

Bill & Cory from Practically Single are this week’s guest on Cellar Sessions. Hear their philosophy on performing sober, get some tips on alternative uses for pizza boxes, and learn about the woes of drunken sleepwalking. They perform ‘Bite My Tongue and Come Under’, a modish acoustic version of Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’, and premiere ‘All My Exes’ off their forthcoming album.
