Cellar Session #25: Ashley Jones

Posted on 21st December 2009 by Bill in Uncategorized

Sultry singer/songwriter Ashley Jones joins us for an intimate Session in the Cellar. This usually reserved & shy Jersey gurl opens up to your gallant hosts Bill & Jax, and even does a little rapping. Ashley performs ‘Got Me Bad’ & ‘Fiends on the Block’ off her 2009 self-titled album, and a sexy-silky-smooth acoustic version of Frank Sinatra’s ‘Fly Me To The Moon’.

  3. Ashely is terrific and has a bright future as a vocalist IF she can connect with the right people and is willing to take some creative chances on the jazzy side of rock to help her stand out from–as opposed to blending in nicely with–a crowd of talented women such as Nora Jones. With artists and talents such as Ashley, i can only recommend having her on the show again SOON and enabling her to spend more time singing–and talking about her writing, inspirations and technique–as opposed to discussions of comic heroes. With a voice like her’s, its a good idea to get outta the way and encourage her to sing.
